Desenvolvedor encontra possível referência a novo iPhone - Developer finds possible reference to new iPhone

Um brasileiro pode ter descoberto uma referência ao novo iPhone. O desenvolvedor brasileiro Guilherme Rambo encontrou no Xcode 10 (ferramentas da Apple voltadas para o desenvolvimento de aplicações para seus sistemas operacionais) uma denominação que pode estar relacionada ao novo smartphone da Apple, ainda a ser anunciado este ano.

O que Rambo percebeu é que há uma referência a “iPhone XX” na lista de aparelhos do Xcode. Mesmo que este não seja o nome oficial do novo smartphone, é o único device da lista que ainda não foi lançado oficialmente, indicando um próximo aparelho.

An interesting device appeared in Xcode 10's thinning options: "iPhone xx". Model identifier iPhone9,7. My guess is this will be the "low cost iPhone" (internally called LCP, model N84). Definitely not the marketing name tho. Thanks Max

Atualmente, os rumores apontam que a Apple deve lançar três dispositivos este ano. Um seria o sucessor oficial do iPhone X, com tela de 5,8 polegadas. O outro é uma versão mais básica do aparelho com tela de LCD de 6,1 polegadas. Por fim, um terceiro seria o iPhone X Plus, seguindo um mesmo design do atual flagship da Apple, mas com tela de 6,5 polegadas.

Contudo, pela análise de Rambo, as configurações apresentadas referentes ao iPhone xx, o suposto novo aparelho, não batem com nenhuma destas três propostas. No Xcode, este iPhone xx está associado ao chip A10, o qual é utilizado atualmente nos iPhone 7 e 7 Plus. O mais próximo desta configuração seria o modelo de 6,1 polegadas, o qual teria um processador mais mediano. Contudo, rumores também apontam que a Apple deva manter algumas ferramentas como Face ID neste dispositivo, eliminando a possibilidade do uso de um chip A10.

Com isso, a expectativa de Rambo é de que o aparelho ou seja um novo da linha SE, chamado por ele de iphone SE2, ou mesmo um substituto para o iPhone 7.

Embora ainda a empresa não tenha feito nenhuma confirmação, tudo indica que a Apple deva anunciar seus novos modelos em 12 de setembro deste ano.

 

 

 

A Brazilian may have discovered a reference to the new iPhone. Brazilian developer Guilherme Rambo found in Xcode 10 (Apple's tools for developing applications for its operating systems) a name that may be related to the new Apple smartphone, still to be announced this year.

What Rambo realized is that there is a reference to "iPhone XX" in the device list of Xcode. Even though this is not the official name of the new smartphone, it is the only device on the list that has not yet officially released, indicating an upcoming device.

Currently, rumors point out that Apple is expected to launch three devices this year. One would be the official successor to the iPhone X, with 5.8-inch screen. The other is a more basic version of the device with LCD screen of 6.1 inches. Finally, a third would be the iPhone X Plus, following a same design of the current flagship Apple, but with 6.5-inch screen.

However, by the Rambo analysis, the settings presented for the iPhone xx, the alleged new device, do not meet any of these three proposals. In Xcode, this iPhone xx is associated with the A10 chip, which is currently used in the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. The closest to this configuration would be the 6.1-inch model, which would have a more median processor. However, rumors also point out that Apple should keep some tools like Face ID on this device, eliminating the possibility of using an A10 chip.

With that, the expectation of Rambo is that the device is either a new SE line, called by him SE2 iphone, or even a replacement for the iPhone 7.

Although the company has not yet made any confirmation, it appears that Apple should announce its new models on September 12 this year.
